Nominees for Unsung act of the year saw the mention of certain acts which indeed are unsung simply because they deserve to remain so. It's very important we understand the importance of the category. My view is the category should not celebrate simply any underground act but acts that are making huge and important strides and still remain unnoticed.
The alternative list for unsung. The first three were in our predictions. The latter three however deserve mention.

Eye Judah
This is one act who definitely should have been nominated for the award. In a period where dancehall is the order of the day, Eye Judah represents the fastest growing dancehall act around. As CEO of the spark fire crew an off shoot of the Burniton music group. It's really sad to see all the hard work go unappreciated.
Kojo Cue
This act has been around for quite some time and presents the perfect scenario of an unsung act. His hit song #lavender deserved at least some recognition.
Drilix
The least popular among the group. This act signed to lynx during the same period mzvee and the D3 signed. Was however not given the necessary push to help him blow up so he moved on and is on his own now. He is also affiliated with Nu Africa. His rap ability is unmatched in the industry. His delivery is so on point he has received several comparisons to world renowned Sway. His debut album Hip hop lives was epic. 
Of course we don't expect you to agree with the list. But as they say opinions are like noses everyone has his.
