It's the Oscars once again however we want to take a look at very good actors who have never won the Academy's big prize. Starring 5 of the very best

1. Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise has never won an Oscar. This actor is famous for the Mission Impossible movies. He had two nominations for Born on fourth of July and Jerry Maguire.

2.Jonny Depp

Definitely a gross irregularity you sometimes wonder if the Academy awards is to award the very best or not. Jonny shot to worldwide prominence for playing Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean, and further lead roles in Sweeney todd and Finding Neverland. He had best Actor Nominations for all three. Never won.

3.Samuel L. Jackson

Another Academy Award anomaly. Samuel L. Jackson should surely have won an Oscar by now.

For those who believe in the racial victimization of black actors, I believe it's sheer coincidence as the aforementioned white actors equally deserve the award and haven't won either.

4. Will Smith

Will Smith an incredibly likable character. He is one of the more established black actor Oscars casualty. Had two previous best Actor nominations for "Ali" and "Pursuit of happiness". He definitely should have won for Ali. An incredibly classic movie.

5. Marilyn Monroe

Truely a Classic Hollywood great. The only name most 90's babies know about classic Hollywood is Marilyn Monroe, ok and maybe Charlie Chaplin. But this shows how big an act she was.

Guess how many Oscar nominations she had?. Zero.

There were several rumors about her having an affair with then President J. F. Kennedy. She died in 1969 of a drug overdose.
