The Jubilee Park in Ho, the Capital of Volta Region was turned into a night hub on Saturday, 9th of April 2016, as tens of thousands thronged the Jubilee grounds to have a blast of fun.
Hosted by sizzla and with support from Starr Fm’s Nii Ayi as the dj for the night, the concert started a few minutes after 10 pm with underground acts mounting the stage to show off what they’ve got.
Bisa Kdei, SP Sarpong, Patience Nyarko, Wisa, Atom, Jupitar, Kwaw Kese, Edem,DxD,Eye Judah took turns to thrill fans with God music and delivery.
Being the first time in the Volta regional capital, organisers of the jam, Charterhouse, deserved a thump up for that initiative.
One act that caught my attention was Burniton music group (BMG) fast rising danceHall act Bernard okaiteh known in show business as "EYE JUDAH" whose energy and delivery on stage was impeccable and outstanding.
There were whispering and murmuring in the crowd asking "is that stonebwoy? No this is "EYE JUDAH" " ... no doubt he has been tagged by many dancehall critics and lovers to be the next big thing in the Ghanaian music industry. His performance till date have left memories to all those who were present at the show. His powerful slogan "DAMAGE " Which he kept chanting has turned a household name in the city's capital and it's environs" (gong beater)
Eye judah missed out on a nomination for the Unsung category at this year's VGMA, and the officials would definitely be watching with tons of regret at leaving out this musical progidy.
